Current Research Interests

I am currently learning about research in biomechanics, human movement, and the application of technology to understand human performance and health. Through my involvement in the RUN Lab at Simon Fraser University, I have gained exposure to motion analysis techniques and research methodology.

I hope to continue exploring biomechanics and health research while developing a deeper understanding of human physiology. I am particularly interested in the intersection of movement, injury prevention, and healthcare.

Personal

Outside of academics and work, I enjoy pursuing a variety of interests. I spent over 15 years as a competitive alpine ski racer, including winning BC Winter Games and later spending five years competing at the FIS level, focusing on the North American race circuit. I continue to stay active through CrossFit and enjoy coaching and mentoring young athletes. Beyond sport, I have a background in competitive piano, enjoy reading, and am fluent in English, French, and Serbian. These experiences have helped me develop discipline, resilience, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous growth.
