Experience
Barista - Velostar (Apr 2019 - June 2023)
Making food and drinks, baking, cleaning, and many other associated tasks. Training and mentoring new employees, and continue to work odd shifts if needed (ongoing). 1000+ hours.
Nanny (May 2024 - ongoing)
Taking care of 2 children, four years old and under. Driving the older child to/ from preschool, taking care of younger child throughout the day. Completing house chores such as dishes, tidying, laundry, and making lunch for children. Working throughout the year with varying schedule. 150+ hours.
Coaching Assistant - Grouse Mountain Tyee Ski Club (May 2023 - Aug 2023)
Coaching off-snow training for children ages 10-14, and managing children for mountain clean-up. Worked at GMTSC and volunteered at WVSC. Keeping children engaged and happy while pushing them physically, and sharing experience from provincial team.
Retail Worker (Sept 2023 - July 2024)
Greeting and helping customers, and connecting through ski racing. Speaking with younger athletes and providing insight about high level sport. Connecting with people in the ski community.
Tutor (Sept 2025 - ongoing)
Tutoring grade 9 Mathematics and Science, as well as Pre-Calculus 10 on a weekly basis. Intermittently tutored same student in elementary-level Mathematics in 2020. 50+ hours.
Volunteer
Hospice Society of the Columbia Valley (Nov 2024 - Apr 2025)
Serving as a volunteer navigator/ "NAV-Care" aide, helping people with declining health with necessary tasks while providing company, support and guidance when needed. Making irregular visits throughout the winter around my athletic schedule. Completed the certification for Nav-Care Volunteer Navigator Training, provided by UBC and Dr. Barb Pesut and Dr. Wendy Duggleby.
Coaching assistant (Sept 2024 - Apr 2025)
Committed to assisting in weekly off-snow fitness training for Windermere Valley Ski Club, for children aged 10-14. The given responsibilities include managing groups of 10-15 children, providing them with fitness-related activities and keeping them engaged.
